notwithstanding the foregoing

For the first time in my life, I have a ton of vacation days, and (some) disposable income. So I’m planning some fucking vacations. At the end of which I will have no more disposable income. But I will have had fun and posted ridiculous photos on the internet as proof.

May 2 to May 6 (right after opening!!) - Florida, somewhere in the vicinity of Tampa at my friend’s house on the river. Think Spring Break for 30-somethings. I anticipate food, drink, cards and the beach.

June 28 to July 8 - Great Western Road Trip. Megan and Jess and I are driving (well, Megan is doing the driving) from LA to Vancouver. There’s a google doc and possibly a hashtag. There also seem to be a startling number of Shakespeare Festivals along the route.

July 15 to July 19 (London) to July 23 (Paris). My niece’s bat mitzvah trip. Probably some more Shakespeare. Unlikely to pick up inappropriate men in bars, as I’ll be sharing a hotel room with my mom.
